About Cathy
Hi, I’m Cathy — a Belgian gothic and fantasy photographer who helps people see themselves through a new lens: powerful, mysterious, and unapologetically unique.
Just like many of my clients, I grew up with my head in other worlds. Books, music, and games were my escape — safe spaces where imagination could bloom freely. I was that quiet, creative soul who didn’t quite fit in, and for a long time I believed that was a weakness. Now I know it’s my greatest strength.
When I discovered the gothic subculture, something clicked. I found beauty in the shadows, elegance in darkness, and community among people who dared to be different. That feeling — of belonging, of being seen for who you really are — is what I strive to give my clients today.
With a background in graphic design, I developed a strong eye for light, texture, and composition. In 2020, that creative drive grew into Orphea Photography — my own little world where fantasy, storytelling, and emotion meet.
Every session is a collaboration. I don’t just take photos; I help you transform. I’ll be your guide, your creative partner, and your biggest cheerleader.
My work blends dark fantasy, gothic atmosphere, and fine-art portraiture — inspired by the worlds I once escaped into, and the strength I found there.
