Hi and welcome!
My name is Cathy, and I’m a level 31 photographer based in Belgium specializing in gothic and fantasy photography.
With over 15 years of experience in photography, of which 3 years as a professional photographer I know how to guide you through a photoshoot: I give you styling and posing advice and of course take and edit the most epic pictures of you.
Being goth myself, I always felt somewhat like an outsider, and I worked really hard to create a positive image in the world of my subculture. I know what it’s like to be bullied, to be the outcast but I also know that we are powerful and strong, and deserve pictures that show you the way you truly are: epic and amazing.
With my photography I aim to strenghten our community and to give you a place where you can truly be yourself.
My goal is to give you a safe space to express yourself and together create the image of the you you always want to be.
I love taking pictures of anyone who is alternative, goth, geeky, fantasy or another type of different and give you your spotlight.
That’s why in 2019 I launched my photography business: Orphea Photography.
My core values are: safety, creativity and quality.
We can work together on a photoshoot in your most amazing goth outfit, a fantasy costume you made yourself or even a epic look from the shoot wardrobe .
Since I got my first camera in my hands at age 15 I’ve been taking pictures, my work was published in multiple online and print magazines such as Mindview and Darkview as well as event pages in Belgium. I studied graphic design and have done courses and workshops by highly praised gothic and alternative photographers such as ByMarije, Laura Sheridan and Alter Imago.

The inspiration for most of my photoshoots comes from stories, movies and music. I love to give a backstory to each image I create.
